Vida Simon: Excavation Drawings

Performance

October 10 – October 15, 2006

Project Description

Excavation Drawings is an installative performance by Montreal artist Vida Simon, who will live and work for six days in a hotel room located in downtown Montreal, thus creating an open, living work. As the room is transformed into an ambivalent space, the performance explores the relationship between drawing and the context of its inscription, both symbolic and physical.
