description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Skol and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prontomusica.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pronto Musica<\/a> present <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prontomusica.org\/ideas-of-north.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Ideas of North<\/em><\/a>, an event that unites musicians, researchers, and playwrights to document, celebrate, and mourn the changing Canadian North.<\/p>\n<p>To create <em>Ideas of North<\/em>, five composers and eight performers discussed Canadian attitudes towards climate change and the North with an environmental scientist, a sociologist, a political economist, a photographer, and an Inuk playwright.
