Bernatchez\u2019s skillfully elaborate and complex compositions source from a coalescence of dystopian symbols and codes culled from popular culture.<em> Chrysalides<\/em> is a multidisciplinary exhibition that examines themes of vanity, decline and alienation through the lens of the phantasmagorical. Initially presented as a series of limited and sporadic apparitions held in and around the artist\u2019s studio, Skol is pleased to host the Montr\u00e9al premiere of this otherworldly vision assembled here in its totality.
