Paper Stories<\/b><\/span> is a benefit exhibition by the artist-members of the Centre des arts actuels SKOL, celebrating paper\u2014a medium that is both fragile and resilient, open and intimate, simple yet full of potential. Each work presented here reveals the unique bond between the artist and this material: ink, pencil, and paint trace gestures, thoughts, and emotions. Paper becomes a space of encounter.<\/p>\n

Paper Stories<\/b><\/span> is also a concrete gesture of solidarity. The artists are offering their works for sale: for each piece sold, 80% of the proceeds go to the artist and 20% support SKOL. These contributions help the Centre pursue its mission\u2014to support contemporary creation and provide a vibrant space for experimentation for artists and audiences alike.<\/strong><\/p>\n

By taking home a piece, you\u2019re supporting both an artistic practice and a place that is essential to the vitality of Montr\u00e9al\u2019s artistic community.<\/p>\n
