fernando belote, the artist of Archivophagic Marginalia <\/em>presented in R\u00e9veiller L’Androgyne \u00b7 Reviving the Bookstore<\/strong> exhibition, invites you for a guided tour of the exhibition!<\/p>\n

About the artist:<\/strong> fernando belote (Fern) is a bicha\/queer multidisciplinary artist and Brazilian immigrant based in Montr\u00e9al. Their practice emerges from lived experiences of dissidence in Brazil and from the ethical tensions involved in translating these memories within a migratory context. Working across ceramics, performance, plant-based material transformations, and queer writing, Fern develops practices that interrogate language, institutions, and power, resisting coloniality, capitalist abstraction, and compulsory cis-heteronormativity.<\/p>\n
