Unaware of aesthetic, they\u00a0<\/em><em>enjoy their simplicity. Beautiful and proud, they wait for other small\u00a0<\/em><em>animals in search of love. When I saw these little sea creatures, I couldn\u2019t\u00a0<\/em><em>prevent myself from shedding a tear. I immediately asked Genevi\u00e8ve to take a\u00a0<\/em><em>photograph of me.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The first time I experienced the octopus was three months ago, while I was\u00a0<\/em><em>busy painting in my kitchen. A small painting had just emerged : a spray of\u00a0<\/em><em>fluorescent pink paint on a yellow background. Right then, I took my\u00a0<\/em>Lumocolor permanent 313 press + click <em>pen, and I drew two perfectly round\u00a0<\/em><em>eyes on this patch that had been abstract to me. I then became overwhelmed\u00a0<\/em><em>by a sensation of well-being. The octopi! I had discovered more than a &#8220;<\/em><em>mollusk that has eight muscular arms equipped with two rows of suckers&#8221;,\u00a0<\/em><em>says Webster\u2019s dictionary.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Finally! I am able to be moved.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The project presented by Matthieu Dumont in the large gallery at Skol takes\u00a0into account studio work as an exhilarating practice.
