CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS SKOOL 2018

Internship dates June 18th  — July 27th

Eligibility: This program is for Canadian students under the age of 30, who will return to school in September 2018.

By activating the centre as an educational space, the SKOOL summer internship offers emerging cultural producers the time, space and resources to experiment and gain experience with various forms of organization, production and/or programming, with the help and the support of Skol’s team.
SKOOL is a 6 weeks paid internship (minimum wage) for a team of two emerging artists and/or cultural workers .
Projects may take any number of forms including, but not limited to:

  • publication
  • curatorial project
  • art history and/or contemporary art research
  • workshop
  • archival research
  • off-site intervention
  • conference
  • a combination of the above

 Proposals should include:

  • a project description (max.1000 words)
  • a work schedule or timeline (max.1 pages)
  • a CV for each member of the team
  • support material related to your proposal (images, videos, press clippings)

Applicants will receive an answer by email by June 6th.

All projects will be evaluated by the Skol team. We invite you to visit our website to see past projects that have already been presented as part of this program.
