Call it trans-garage! Call it doom blues! Call it improvised rock n’ roll! Call it whatever you want! Skol is proud to present The Oblique Mystique!

The band was started by Patrick Lundeen in Brooklyn in 2007 and has since experienced several line-up changes. All three members of the band are exhibiting visual artists and they bring a visual/formal sensibility to the music that they make. Their music is therefore better understood within the context of an art gallery than, for example, a folk festival.
