Open call for artists 2023-2024
Deadline — January 16th 2023, 11:59 p.m.
As part of the special programming for its 40th anniversary, Skol is currently accepting proposals of works and projects(talks, screenings, interventions, or performances) for 2023-24. The selected pieces will be brought together in a group exhibition that reflects Skol’s future path by foregrounding emerging practices and encouraging risk-taking on formal or conceptual levels. The exhibition’s theme will be developed by a jury based on affinities between the selected works and projects. Artists, researchers, and practitioners wanting to participate in the program may either submit a work or a project directly, or simply state their intent and provide their contact information and a link to their website.

- A PDF (max. 5 pages) with images and or video links, a short statement and your mailing address to programmation@skol.ca
General information:
- The selected pieces will be brought together in a group exhibition
- The call is open to artists and art professionals of all ages and levels of experience
- The proposals will be reviewed by a committee of peers
- Skol pays artist fees and honoraria based on CARFAC fee schedule
