Adrien Guillet: Untitled (Air Transat)

Transdisciplinary

September 8th  — October 22nd, 2022

Untitled (Air Transat) recreates the fantasized landscape of an ocean proudly flown over, half asleep in a registered blanket, after eating in a meal tray facing a blockbuster. Composed of a set of 14 aerial seascapes, this in situ installation invites the public to contemplate this atypical transatlantic panorama.

Holding a master’s degree from HEAD Genève in Contemporary Artistic Practices, Adrien Guillet structures his transdisciplinary work around a reflection on the formation and use of visual signs, particularly in the commercial field.

His work has been shown in solo exhibitions at the Centre d’Art Contemporain de Brétigny (France), the Corner College (Switzerland), and in collective exhibitions at the Frac des Pays de la Loire (Nantes), at the Consortium (Dijon) and the Belleville Biennale (Paris).
