Workshops at Innovation Jeunes with Sophie Cabot

Skol / Innovation Youth collaboration
Skol is proud to collaborate with Innovation Youth, an organization whose mandate is to offer a community space for youth and families living in or frequently visiting downtown, opening up the possibilities of integration into academic, family, and social life.
Skol participates to this mandate by presenting art workshops, given by a Skol member and based on the artist’s process.
Workshop Descriptions
In the context of the mini-camp at Innovation Jeunes and under the theme “Once upon a time Peter McGill …”, Skol’s cultural mediator Sophie Cabot designed and presented a total of six art workshops for children from 6 to 12 years old, exploring various techniques and mediums. While developing their artistic skills, the kids had the opportunity to experiment with cyanotype, plant-based inks, 3D collages with elements of nature, and collages with candies influenced by the well-known artist Arcimboldo.
